Fortnite Kept Popping Up In NRL Games Over The Weekend

It happened, once, then again and after that it just seemed like a running gag between players.

In three games over the weekend (that we can find), top-tier NRL players were referencing Fortnite in their post-try celebrations.

It started off with Sharks player Josh Dugan, before Roosters player (and Dugan’s friend) Blake Fergusson pulled it out. It was then up to two Warriors players to show the gaming world how it’s done. All four of these players referenced Fortnite’s bandaging animation in their celebration.

If this doesn’t show us that Fortnite has really broken into the mainstream then nothing will. One reason why Fortnite continues to be so popular is the fact that it’s free to download and it’s also available on PlayStation 4.
