I can’t be 100% sure, but I’m fairly confident that these numbers were way beyond what Vince and the team expected.
This is evident in the fact that Respawn’s Official account tweeted ‘LETS FUCKING GOOooooo” 
I watched as it happened, and thought it was hilarious (although a little off brand), but now that I know that it was an accidental tweet by Associate Producer, Josh Medina, I find it even more hilarious and absolutely endearing to see how much it means to the team.
Obviously, the tweet has now been deleted and represented on his actual account.
