Epic Games has been teasing the return of Fortnite’s fan favourite Halloween Event, Fortnitemares for a few days now and today, Epic has announced that the spooky holiday-themed event is now officially underway on all platforms. Players on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and compatible mobile devices can jump into the free limited-time event and check out all of the exclusive content until early next week.
This year’s iteration of the event includes exciting new limited-time modes which you can read more about below:
- Storm King: This mode pits a large team of players against the ghoulish Storm King, a giant empowered by an ancient evil and intent on wreaking havoc on Fortnite’s new island. Accept the Storm King’s challenge to earn the exclusive Storm Sail Umbrella glider.
- Mansion of Power: In this unforgiving Free For All mode, the first to reach five elimination wins in a row will be crowned, but be careful because if you go down, your win streak will be completely reset.
- Gun Fright: In this mode, duo partners equip the same randomised loadout and battle it out to be the first pair to win four rounds.
Players will have until November 4th, 2019 to complete Fortnitemares challenges and unlock the exclusive in-game items available throughout the event.
