Some of the little bits that have come out today’s PlayStation 5 stream are the packaging of the PS5, the exact size of the console (it’s the biggest console ever) and the back of the console.
In terms of size, the PS5 is 390mm tall, 260mm deep and 104mm wide. For comparison, the Xbox Series X is 301mm tall, 151mm deep and 151mm wide. Both consoles are incredibly chonky, and if you’re popping them into your entertainment unit at the same time, it’s obviously going to look fairly different post November 12th.
In terms of the back of the PS5, it definitely does look like the wings on the sides will clip off for customisation (although this is still speculation at this point). In terms of ports on the back, there’s 2 x USB Type A ports, an Ethernet port, a HDMI port and a AC adaptor port. Thankfully, there’s a USB-C port on the front.
