Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Stay At Home initiative that happened last year is continuing on this year. Whilst last year saw us get Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free for two months, this initiative will last from March until June bringing PS4/PS5 owners a free game every month. This will be free to all owners and be completely separate to the PlayStation Plus lineup.
As of March 1st, Ratchet and Clank will be free for all PS4/PS5 owners. Now obviously, this won’t be a big win for everyone, as PS5 owners that are PlayStation Plus subscribers would already get this game for free. If you do grab it, it’ll be yours to keep forever, regardless of a PlayStation Plus subscription
So just as a reminder, here’s what March’s free games look like on PlayStation:
- Ratchet & Clank – Free for all
- Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4) – PlayStation Plus
- Maquette (PS5) – PlayStation Plus
- Remnant from the Ashes (PS4) – PlayStation Plus
- Farpoint VR (PS4) – PlayStation Plus
- Destruction All Stars (PS5) – PlayStation Plus
In addition to this, Funimation are giving gamers new subscribers extended access beyond the initial trial.
Sony has said that they will reveal the remaining games and also other offers in the coming weeks.
