Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends Is Getting A Standalone Release And A Bunch Of New Content

Sucker Punch has announced that Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the multiplayer component of Ghost of Tsushima will get a standalone release. The standalone version of the game will launch on September 3rd and will set you back $19.99 USD (about $27 AUD).

The team has also announced that the game is getting a new mode called Rivals on September 3rd that will bring new trophies and cosmetics. In Rivals, teams of two will compete to defeat waves of enemies. Defeating foes will earn you Magatama which you can use the harm the other team, with the goal being to complete the wave before the other team can.

Alongside the Director’s Cut version of the game, an update is also being released for Legends that includes rebalancing of Survival mode to shorten the session lengths, a new weekly survival nightmare challenge variant and additional cosmetics.

Sucker Punch has also said that it is committed to releasing a new piece of content from September 10th until October 1st including a new Rivals map, new Survival maps based on Iki Island and a new trial.
