Ubisoft has announced the entirety of the Far Cry 6 post-launch content strategy and it’s safe to safe to say they’re going big.
Three free crossover missions will hit the game post launch. One based on Stranger Things, another based on Rambo and another based on the actor Danny Trejo.
It was previously confirmed that three paid pieces of DLC would hit the game based on three iconic Far Cry villains. Vaas Insanity will release in November 2021, Pagan: Control will release in January 2022 and Joseph: Collapse will release in March 2022. Those who purchase the season pass will also receive Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and a Blood Dragon set that brings seven items from that game into Far Cry 6.
Ubisoft has also confirmed that there will be free weekly missions and 6 special operation missions which bring new mechanics into the game.
Far Cry 6 launches on October 7th. The cheapest copy is currently $72 on Amazon.
