We all remember the absolute storm that Cyberpunk 2077 caused at launch due to its bugs, but Grand Theft Auto – The Trilogy: Definitive Edition seems to be giving it a run for its money.
So much so, that less than 12 hours from launch, we’ve already got a montage of bugs that have been put together to the tune of the Cyberpunk 2077 bug montage.

I must admit, a lot of the clips in this footage probably would have happened in the original games, so whether that’s okay in this day and age is probably up in the ear. On one hand, obviously some of the jank is so essential to these games, but bridges and cars appearing and disappearing out of nowhere probably isn’t good in any stretch.
People are also taking a big issue with the rain in Grand Theft Auto 3, which has obviously received an upgrade, but definitely plays havoc with actually being able to see things, and the rain appears to makes its way into buildings which is interesting.
Another contentious point is the fact that the increased draw distance really shines a light on how much bigger the map got in the games that proceed this trilogy, and kind of feels like we’ve been lied to all of these years.
It’s a tough one. I think that there definitely needs to be some bugs ironed out, but on the other hand, I’m definitely happy to have these games on not only next-gen consoles but on the Nintendo Switch.
