Capcom’s countdown has ended and they have just announced that Street Fighter 6 is officially on the way. A short 40 second teaser trailer was shown off featuring Ryu as well as Street Fighter 5’s Luke.
Whilst the teaser trailer doesn’t reveal a whole lot, it does look to be taking a more realistic graphical approach, likely using the RE Engine that is most known for use with the more recent Resident Evil games.
Capcom said that we’d hear more about the game in Winter (AU), so it’ll likely be a few more months before we hear more, with a release likely to come later this year or early next.
