Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Has Been Delayed

No 2022 release.

In addition to the cancellation of four games, Ubisoft has today announced that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been delayed. The game was originally supposed to release later this to be in line with the second film’s release in December, but it will now release between April 2023 and 2024.

Speaking about the delay, Ubisoft CEO Ybes Guillemot said that “We want to make Avatar a video game industry brand. It is important for us to come up with something that is perfect”.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, is an open world, first-person action- adventure game. It’s in development by Massive who had previously developed The Division. It’s set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Ubisoft also said that it had delayed another smaller unannounced premium game that was supposed to launch this holiday, but will now release in 2023-2024. It is expected that this could be the smaller Assassin’s Creed game that had been rumoured.
