The Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition was revealed yesterday ahead of it going on sale at EB Games at 11:00am AEST this morning, but we’ve gotten a closer look at it courtesy of an official unboxing.
Whilst the $500 price tag seemed high initially, a closer look does show that the book and wand does look a little bit more complex than we initially thought. After plugging the book into AC power, the wand appears to float and move on its own above the book. I’m no scientist (or magician) but I’d guess it’s using magnets or something to that effect. No doubt it’s pricy, but it’s cooler than initially thought.
It’s also been confirmed that for console purchasers, you will get a physical version of the game whilst PC purchasers will get a digital code.
