With just a week to go before launch, we’ve been treated to a launch trailer for The Last of Us Part 1, Naughty Dog’s remake of their 2013 survival-horror classic.
Although there’s been plenty of discussion about The Last of Us was a game in need of a remake, there’s no denying that this trailer promises a far prettier experience.
Just this week, we got our first look at HBO’s television adaptation for The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, which seems like a rather neat instance of brand synergy.
The Last of Us Part 1 is set to release next week on September 2nd for PlayStation 5, having been rebuilt from the ground up. The cheapest copy is currently $98 on Amazon. Our review will be live on September 1st at 1:00am AEST
There’s also a PC version in the works that’s expected to launch some time after the console version.
