A new TV spot for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the upcoming PS5-exclusive sequel, has found its way online after being shown during an Australian broadcast on ESPN.
The 15-second teaser, which comes “Live From PS5” and shows the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man going after some criminals, isn’t going to light the world on fire with any new or interesting content, but one small detail spotted is certainly important – at the bottom of the ad is a small info box with the words “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming Spring 2023.”
With the Australian Spring months encompassing September-November this year, this re-confirms PlayStation’s previously-revealed release window for the game and suggests nothing has changed or been delayed since (and keeps it within the Press Start team’s range of guesses on the most recent Press Start Podcast).
