No stranger to giant statues, PlayStation has followed up its epic Horizon Forbidden West statue activation by taking it up a notch for its new ‘Live from PS5‘ campaign.
Massive statues including humungous PS5 consoles and Kratos’ axe from God of War Ragnarok have started appearing in locations such as Korea, London, Italy and Dubai.
Whilst there’s nothing in Australia yet, this seems to be something that will continue into the coming days and weeks, so hopefully we see something down under.
OK, who threw it this time? ? https://t.co/ssCuN4Z1y9

If you're considering seeing it in person, experts speculate the axe will be gone by Tuesday evening.

The launch of these statues are to coincide with PlayStation’s ‘Live from PS5’ campaign which launched alongside a new trailer that shows the likes of Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok as if they were happening in real life.
Interesting enough, people thought that a new Uncharted game and maybe Ghost of Tsushima were being teased within the trailer as PlayStation’s post said.
“This new spot hints at the breadth of extraordinary experiences taking place in the PS5 universe through the style of a live news channel. See if you can spot all the game references”
This also marks the end of the PS5 shortage with PlayStation declaring that more stock would be available in all parts of the world. This was evident this week with the console getting its first price drop on Amazon.
