Bandai Namco has dropped a fairly substantial free demo for its upcoming fighting game sequel, Tekken 8, which is available now for those playing on PS5 and will be made available to Xbox Series X|S and PC players starting on December 21st (time zones permitting).
The demo features the first chapter of Tekken 8’s story mode, The Dark Awakens, along with a local VS fighting mode.

We recently had the chance at a lengthy hands-on with the game’s suite of distinct modes, including its Story Mode, Arcade Quest and the return of Tekken Ball, saying, “As a long-standing Tekken fan I’ve been hanging for this release, and I’m not sure I’m going to be able to wait the extra month post-Christmas for its release. With returning features from previous games as well as gameplay shifts that welcome new players and experienced players alike, Tekken 8 takes everything that came before it and really beats it into shape.”
