PlayStation has confirmed that the retro PS5 themes that were introduced as a limited time offer for the 30th Anniversary will leave the platform tomorrow.
It’s gone on to say that due to positive response on the four themes, they are doing some work behind the scenes to bring these designs back in the months ahead. It’s not clear if this also extendeds to the OG PlayStation intro.
Unfortunately, PlayStation did confirm in a follow-up tweet that additional themes aren’t planned at this stage, so those that were hoping that this was a little teaser for themes coming to the PS5, unfortunately it doesn’t seem like it’s the case.
