WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FEBRUARY 2025 STATE OF PLAY

The presentation will probably be a mix of first and third-party projects. Given that Ghosts of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach are both slated for a release in 2025, it wouldn’t be out of the question to see the latest from Sucker Punch and Kojima Productions here.

Additionally, given that the release date trailer leaked through the PlayStation Store earlier this week, you can expect Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to make an appearance too.

Rumours are also swirling that something Bloodborne-related could be announced, given Sony has been issuing takedown notices to various Bloodborne-related fan projects. However, it wouldn’t be a State of Play announcement without an unverified Bloodborne rumour.

And, why not, let’s manifest a Resident Evil announcement together. Because I can.

Beyond that, it could be anything, but it’s certainly exciting to see the year begin to fill with games, both known and unknown.

See you all tomorrow!
