UPDATE: Pre-orders for The Last Of Us PS5 DualSense controller begin on Friday at 10:00am AEDT before releasing on April 10th. We’re still waiting on final confirmation on stores that will be stocking the controller but links below of who we’d expect to have the controller:
ORIGINAL STORY: PlayStation has today announced a limited edition The Last Of Us DualSense controller just in time for season 2 of HBO’s The Last Of Us and The Last Of Us Part II’s release on PC.
The controller was created in close collaboration with Naughty Dog and features a black/white design with glossy icons printed all along the black parts of the controller that call out to key moments, characters and events from both The Last Of Us games.
The controller will launch on April 10th with pre-orders starting at March 14th, 2025 at 10am AEDT. We’ll keep you posted on link once we have them.
The Last Of Us Part II launhes on PC on April 3rd and HBO’s The Last Of Us Part II launches on HBO Max here in Australia on Apri 13th.

We wanted to ensure that both installments of The Last of Us are represented, via trophy icons printed in black gloss across the controller body. Among the trophies, three particular images will immediately stand out for TLOU fans: The firefly, moth, and wolf. Players will recognize the Fireflies’ iconic spray-painted logo that originated in Part I, while the moth and wolf represent the intertwining lives and duality between Ellie and Abby in Part II.“ said Neil Druckmann.
