Rugby League 26 is set to release next week, and our first gameplay footage comes the way of a leak out of Accor Stadium where State of Origin game 3 will be taking place later tonight. This was uploaded by thenrlroast on Instagram.
The footage shows off a bunch of different players and teams across State of Origin, the NRL and the NRLW including the Penrith Panthers, Melbourne Storm and a bunch of other teams.
The footage re-creates some of the game’s most iconic moments, and shows off much improved animations, player like-ness and a bunch of other graphical improvements as well.
It’s unclear why the footage was shown before the gates are even open and we’re expecting it to be released online tonight (although maybe that makes too much sense).
For now, you can watch the trailer as recorded on the big screen at Accor and we’ll update this post as soon as it’s available in HQ online.
