We knew that Marathon was set to release in March (after being delayed late last year), but if the Xbox Community page is to be believed, it’s set to release during the first week on March 6th.
As spotted on Reddit, a new trailer can be seen on the game’s page on Xbox Community once you add it to your watchlist, revealing the March 6th release date as well as Deluxe Edition.
Marathon is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It’s unclear when this trailer is set to debut, but we’d expect it’d be imminent given it’s been on this page for a few days now.
Marathon was re-revealed last month with the below improvements:
- Proximity chat, to make on-the-fly alliances – or break them – in the field
- Rook, our solo scavenger experience
- Solo Runner queue, so you can test yourself against Tau Ceti’s most challenging odds
- Updates to visual fidelity across the board, to further immerse you in the world
