Starfield Is Officially Coming To PS5 Alongside New Story DLC And A Massive Free Update

Bethesda has today confirmed that Starfield is officially launching on PS5 on April 8th with PS5 Pro support including a Pro Performance Mode and a PRO Visual Mode.

Alongside the PS5 release, a new free Lanes Update as well as Terran Armada Story DLC will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Lanes update will add the ability to cruise between planet to planet within a star system where you’ll be able to encounter encounters in space and spend quality time with your crew on ship as well as the below updates:

• New locations – A number of new Encounters, POIs, Dungeons, notable increase in variety for players to discover
• X-Tech – A new resource used to upgrade weapons, ship modules, and more
• Enemy modifiers – New enemy tiers with performance modifiers, such as extra shielding, more frequent attacks, or elemental damage
• Moon Jumper – New land vehicle
• Outpost improvements – Cross-outpost storage & Milliewhale pet
• New crew – Muria and the mini-bot
• Starborn Improvement – Ability to bring a limited number of items through the Unity to a NG+

The new Terran Armada will be available at a price or free to Premium Edition owners and it will include new characters, new locations, enemies, quests, systems and rewards as well and a new Questline that takes place across the Systems Systems.
