Ahead of the game’s playable demo being on the show floor at Gamescom this week, 4A Games has revealed that the Collector’s Edition for Metro 2039 comes with a replica Spartan helmet, as worn by the new protagonist, The Stranger, in the upcoming sequel.
“Become a tangible part of the world with an authentic, beautifully crafted replica of the mysterious Stranger’s battle-scarred helmet,” the blurb on the post reads.
Although nothing in their posts confirms whether it’s wearable or not, the helmet will be on display at Gamescom, viewable in Hall 9.1.
At this stage, with pre-orders going live later this year, players can register interest through Deep Silver’s official Metro website for alerts by clicking HERE.
With no firm release date as yet, Metro 2039 is expected to launch in February next year.
