This morning’s State of Play opened with our first real look at Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay, showing an extended segment from the campaign.
In terms of how the game is looking to unfold, it looks more linear, akin to The Last of Us, instead of an open-world setup like Insomniac’s past superhero games in Spider-Man. Combat is visceral, extremely bloody, and we got a first look at Jean Grey.
The mission shown focuses on Wolverine as he journeys to rescue a group of mutants before they’re shipped off to Parts Unknown.
