This morning’s State of Play opened with our first real look at Marvel’s Wolverine gameplay, showing an extended segment from the game’s campaign.
In terms of how the game is shaping up, it seems more linear, akin to The Last of Us, rather than an open-world setup like Insomniac’s past superhero games in Spider-Man. Combat is visceral, extremely bloody, and we got a first look at Jean Grey.
The mission shown focuses on James “Logan” Howlett as he journeys to rescue a group of mutants before they’re shipped off to Parts Unknown.
