It’s finally set to happen this week. After multiple delays and years and years of waiting, Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders will go live this week ahead of its November 19th release date.
WHEN DO GRAND THEFT AUTO 6 PRE-ORDERS GO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA
Rockstar has said that Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders will go live globally on Thursday June 25th on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store as well as select physical retailers.
As far as a exact time, we don’t really have any indication of whether this will be early in the day on June 25th (like an 10/11am time slot like PlayStation normally do), or if maybe it’ll be later in the evening at like 11pm AEST, which is when the cover/pre-order reveal dropped late last week, and that would make it June 25th globally as well.
That 11pm or midnight time slot later in the day on the 25th seems most likely to me, although I’m not too sure how well that really would work for our retailers locally. I do expect this will maybe get clarified in the next 24 hours or so by Rockstar who I feel will give us more details on exactly when those pre-orders go live, but no doubt we’ll let you know as soon as is it happens.

Again, I feel like we’ll see Rockstar announce the editions before pre-orders go live, and I do expect in addition to the standard version, we’ll see other editions that give bonus physical and digital items, because it just seems like there’s no way that wouldn’t happen for such a big release.
It’s going to be an exciting week once Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders become available and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
