Xbox has today announced that Xbox Game Pass (their monthly Netflix-like service) will include all first-party games going forward. This means that you’ll be able to play games like Sea Of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3 as soon as they’re released. Xbox also confirmed that this would roll forward for all major franchises including (but not limited to) Gears of War, Halo and Forza.
This is a massive game-changer and makes Game Pass a massive no-brainer. Instead of dropping $80-100 per new release, you can drop $12 per month and have access to a wide variety of games including these new release Xbox games. I honestly think that this is the way forward for gaming.
