Microsoft is getting in on the translucent design phase that seems to have come back in lately, by announcing that a Phantom Black Special Edition Xbox One will release in September.
The controller is translucent black that fades to champagne gold and has the same signature textured grip for enhanced comfort as well as all of the other features that Microsoft has incorporated in their revised controller (bluetooth, 3.5m headset jack etc).
As far as gaming tech goes, I’m a massive sucker for translucent designs, so this is definitely nice. It’ll set you back $99 when it releases on September 11th.
