Xbox Live Is Down Making Game Pass (And Gears 5) Unplayable

As of this morning, Xbox Live is currently down which means that signing into Xbox Live on your Xbox One isn’t possible. This also means that Xbox Game Pass will not work, which means that those wanting to play Gears 5 on a Saturday morning (or Friday night in the US) won’t be able to.

Xbox has advised that they’re aware of the issue and are working quickly to fix it. The last update was an hour ago.

The Australian Down Detector has logged 900 reports of Xbox Live being down by Australians in the last hour, which is a pretty decent number.
