The Xbox One X Has Been Discontinued In Australia

UPDATE: Microsoft has provided us with the below statement confirming that the Xbox One X and Xbox One X All-Digital Edition have been discontinued.

As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold globally. Gamers can check with their local retailers for more details on Xbox One hardware availability.”

It looks as though the Xbox One X has been discontinued in Australia.

We have confirmed with both EB Games and JB Hi-Fi that they’re not expecting more stock of the console with the console being deleted from their systems. The Xbox One X listing has been pulled off EB Games, JB HI-Fi and Amazon’s online stores as well.

Similarly, heading to the Xbox Consoles page on Microsoft’s Australian website only lists the Xbox One S and upcoming Xbox Series X.

Going forward, these retailers will continue to stock both the Xbox One S and Xbox One S: All Digital Edition, which look like they’ll stay apart of the Xbox family lineup beyond the release of the Xbox Series X.
