Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X Is A Lot Smaller Than I Expected (And Fits Into My Entertainment Unit Just Fine)

Xbox Australia managed to build some Xbox Series X light boxes that are exactly the same dimensions as the real deal (30 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm) and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised.

With the box being dropped at my door, having seen a few others pop-up on Twitter, I knew what it was but was still fairly surprised with how small the box was. Pulling it out, again, still fairly amazed, given all the photos and the memes just how tiny the unit is.

Clearing some of my plants that normally sit beside my 65″ TV, I popped the Xbox Series X replica beside my TV, and it not only didn’t look massive, but I’d say that I’d go as far as saying that I really like the shape of it.

The next test was flipping it on its side, where it’ll likely sit, besides my Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch, and it was a little bit tighter of a squeeze, but again, fit into my entertainment unit just fine.

All in all, I know this might seem like a bit of a silly post, but given I had already resigned to the fact that these next-gen consoles weren’t going to fit inside my entertainment unit, it was a nice surprise and I’m still in shock in how much smaller the Xbox Series X is than I expected it to be.

Also, here’s a picture of my sausage dog next to it as well.
