EB Games has popped the Xbox Series X back online for pre-order with all orders to be fulfilled by the end of October. You can either reserve one online for pickup in store for $200 or also head into a store to reserve one for $200. These aren’t available for home delivery. You can find the listing HERE.
Xbox Series X hasn’t been anywhere near as consistent as PS5 stock in the last few months. I’ve heard that Australia won’t be getting stock until September so this lines up with that. EB Games will presumably pull this listing once they’ve pre-sold enough to take them up to mid-October. We would expect that the initial pre-orders will be ready earlier, but EB Games is likely just protecting themselves due to long waits between shipments.
It’s seeming like it’s going to be unlikely to walk into a store this year and pickup either a PS5 or Xbox Series X without getting lucky and ordering one, with the Christmas period not too far away.
