Xbox Cloud Streaming Is Coming To Xbox Series X|S And Xbox One Consoles

Xbox has confirmed that Xbox Cloud Streaming will come to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One this Holiday.

This means that not only will you be able to play Xbox games from the cloud on your Xbox Series X and S, those with an Xbox One will also be able to play Xbox Series X exclusive games such as Microsoft Slight Simulator (for example) on their Xbox One over the Cloud without downloading anything. Microsoft has said that it plans to make “many” Xbox Series X|S games playable on the Xbox One using this method.

At launch, you’ll be able to play games at up to 1080p and 60FPS which is in line with what’s currently available in the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta on phones/tablets. It’s unclear if this plans to be upped at any point in the future.

Microsoft has said that there will be over 100 games available when it launches later this year and games will even be able to jump into multiplayer sessions with friends. This will be apart of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

We can hope that by the time this releases, that Australia has the full version of Xbox Cloud Gaming, so that we can get it on consoles too. Currently, it’s still in beta.
