As part of its 20th Anniversary celebrations, Xbox has teamed up with luxury fashion label, Gucci, to craft an Xbox Series X console so expensive it’d even make scalpers’ eyes water.
The console, which features the ubiquitous GG monogram pattern laser-etched into its chassis, comes inside a custom Gucci hard case and includes two controllers featuring the red and blue stripe motif.
Only 100 of these have been produced, and will be sold in Gucci stores in New York, Beverly Hills, Mexico City, Milan, London, Berlin, Beijing, and Tokyo on November 17 – for the princely sum of USD $10,000 (approx. AUD $13,600).
The bundle also includes a subscription to Xbox Game Pass, which, when you think about the value of the games you’ll get on the service, basically pays for the whole thing! Right?!
In the year of the House’s centennial, Gucci and @Xbox come together to celebrate their respective anniversaries by creating 100 numbered Xbox Series X sets. The bundle appears in images by @HYPEBEAST @hypebeast featuring @EmeraldRose and @KojeyRadical. #GucciXbox pic.twitter.com/SkNdUfPSqV
