It’s something that’s been hoped for for quite a long time, but it’s been officially announced that Halo Infinite is getting a third-person mode.
The update will come in November and will allow for players to play the game with an over-the-shoulder third-person viewpoint which is the first time that this has been possible in a Halo game.
It appears that this will be specific to certain modes rather than allow people to switch back and forth, and it’s also coming to Forge mode as well.
There’s not a heap of details at the time of writing outside of the below gameplay snippet, and going off what we know it doesn’t seem like it’ll come to the campaign at least at launch, but it definitely feels like a huge turning point for the franchise.
Experience a new way to play!
