After being teased during the initial announcement, Activision and Infinity Ward have now revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, a new multiplayer extraction mode included within the game.
Launching alongside the full release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, DMZ sees squads drop in, gathe loot and exfil, with the reveal trailer showing tense shootouts as three players navigate a portion of the game’s Korean setting.
In an update to Xbox Wire, they elaborated that the DMZ mode had been updatede extensively based on player feedback from an earlier beta.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and DMZ is coming to XBOX Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23rd 2026.
