Over on Twitter, Xbox boss, Phil Spencer, announced he has had hands-on time with “an early Scorpio unit” in an internal update regarding the development of Xbox’s next console. In his tweet, he reveals he’s played his first games on the console and that they “played great,” adding the “console looked right.”

Announced at E3 2016, the new console, code-named ‘Scorpio’, is rumoured to be the most powerful home gaming console ever. His tweet represents the first public update regarding Scorpio in a considerable time and hopefully signals more news to come later this year.
