Netflix has today announced that to celebrate the FIFA World Cup in 2026, a brand new FIFA game is coming to Netflix Games.
It will developed and published by Delphi Interactive and will allow Netflix members to play a brand new FIFA game either solo or online on your TV using your phone as the controller.
“The FIFA World Cup is going to be the cultural event of 2026, and now fans will be able to celebrate their fandom by bringing the game right into their living rooms,” said Alain Tascan, President of Games at Netflix.
At the time of writing there’s no screenshots or gameplay videos outside of the new logo, and obviously this marks the first time a new FIFA game is coming since EA sensationally dropped the license and started creating its own games without the FIFA license.
