The Next Xbox Is Called Project Scarlett And It’s Out Next Year

As expected, Microsoft has used its platform at E3 to announce their next Xbox. The rumoured title of ‘Scarlett’ was on the money with Project Scarlett being the revealed moniker.

“The console should be optimized for one thing and one thing only,” said Spencer. “Gaming.”

Headed up by the team behind the Xbox One X, Scarlett sounds like it’ll be an absolute monster. With variable refresh rates, ray-tracing, frame rates up to 120 frames and a new SSD that has improved times over the current consoles by forty-fold.
