Xbox users have taken to social media to report that Xbox Live is currently down.
This means that many gamers are unable to access and play their games, in particular those installed through Xbox Game Pass.
We’ve tested on our own consoles and can’t access games obtained through Game Pass such as the early access version of Battlfield 2042 or Forza Horizon 5. Instead, we’re greeted with a generic error message saying “Something went wrong”.
Looking at Downdetector, it seems users started reporting the outage around an hour ago:
It’s likely unrelated but hilariously coincidental that the Xbox Twitter profile also disappeared earlier today:
