MyMario Is A Collection Of Mario Goodies Including Amiibo Building Blocks, A 3D Book And Interactive Apps

So good!

Nintendo has today announced a collection of goodies in a new range called MyMario that is aimed to be used by parents to introduce their kids to the world of Nintendo.

These products will all be launched on August 26th at Nintendo Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto before rolling out globally next year with new products to be added.

MyMario

The most interesting is the wooden block set which comes in either a 3 piece set featuring Mario, a question block and a mushroom or a 30 piece set that includes Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach as well as a bunch of other items, but what is interesting is that not only can the blocks be used physically in a little playset, they also are Amiibo for their corresponding characters.

I think this is a cool idea, as it means that these can be taken through childhood and obviously keep their use once they’re old enough to enter the digital world.

MyMario

There’s also a board book which has a bunch of moving parts such as Mario moving his mouth wide open, or spinning around and a free app that will release on tablets and the Nintendo Switch that is an evolution of the Mario 64 start screen and will allow Mario’s face to be pulled in all kinds of directions.

MyMario

There’s also a new stop motion series that will show Mario’s expressions and movements that is obviously aimed at a younger demographic.

Looking at the My Mario graphic, we can see other items such as a play mat, little backpack, eating utensils, little rusks and a variety of other toys and clothing as well.
