This week, during a live stream, YouTuber Frogboyx1Gaming received an email from a Best Buy-related affiliate program, which seemed to indicate that a pre-order campaign for Rockstar’s upcoming open-world magnum opus, Grand Theft Auto 6, would begin next week.
Expected to take place between May 18th and May 21st, eligible affiliates would receive 5% for each sale generated from click-throughs on their accounts.
This has also been corroborated by other Best Buy affiliates, which further confirms the retail chain is expected to begin taking pre-orders for the title next week.
It’s been over a year since we last saw the game, so the news has led to widespread speculation that a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 might be imminent.
Grand Theft Auto 6, which was originally expected to be released later this month, was delayed six months ago to its current date of November 19, 2026.
