Amazon has announced that Prime members can now get free shipping from the Amazon US and Amazon UK global stores to Australia for free. Previously, you had to spend $49 to be eligible for free global shipping, but as of now until March 20th, Prime members will get free global shipping with absolutely no minimum spend.

Those that aren’t Prime members can now spend $69 and get free shipping (previously you had to pay for shipping regardless). For tech items, things such as books that aren’t available here, and a much wider variety of products, it’s great that there’s now free shipping with no minimum spend when buying from the UK/US stores.
