JB Hi-Fi has dropped its latest “Price Frenzy” catalogue, and with it a handful of fairly tasty gaming deals. In particular, the iconic black-and-yellow electronics and entertainment retailer has absolutely gutted the price out of the last-gen PlayStation console.
That’s right, if you’re hankering for a trip down memory lane, you can pick up a PS4 slim 500GB console for $239 at JB, down from an RRP of $439.
And sure, $439 feels like it was already way too much as the standard price, but compare JB’s current deal to even Amazon, which is currently selling the 500GB PS4 for $279, though historically we’d probably expect to see them match the cheaper price soon enough.
