DICE took the stage to kick off EA’s E3 event, EA Play. Not only did they detail their new features coming to Battlefield V, they dropped the bombshell that Battlefield V will indeed feature a battle royale mode called ‘Royale’ for now.
It’s definitely going to include vehicles which is true to Battlefield’s style, but they said more news on it would trickle out later this year, perhaps indicating that it might not launch alongside the game in October.
They then showed a healthy snippet of the game’s gameplay, before revealing that more on the game’s War Stories mode, returning from Battlefield 1, will be shown off during the Xbox conference.
