Resident Evil Village starts off on a pretty chill note. You’re in the shoes of Ethan Winters once more, but he’s settled down with Mia and had a baby girl named Rose. During these opening moments, you’re treated to the Village of Shadows story tale as well as tasked with the ultimate dad task – put Rose to bed. It’s a fairly mundane moment, but you can easily nab an achievement and/or trophy if you pay attention.

The achievement/trophy in question is Goooaaal! and it is given for moving the ball from the bedroom into the study.
It’s actually pretty simple – all you have to do is use Ethan to push the ball into the study.
If you’re into making things too complicated for yourself like me, you’ll probably try to kick the ball down the stairs and into the kitchen. Or kick it into the bathroom. Or kick it into the unused spare bedroom that Ethan has to clean up.
But no, the solution is much simpler. As you enter the room, on the right-hand side is the door to the study. It’s marked in the screenshot below.
Simply kick the ball into that room and your achievement / trophy will pop. It’s a super simple one, but one that’s so simple that you might as well get it out of the way now.
