Battlefield: Hardline (formerly rumoured to be named Havana or Omaha) has officially been announced by EA at the official Battlefield website, but you’ll have to wait until EA’s E3 conference to get a glimpse of the popular series.
However, there have been a few leaks in regards to the upcoming game, as revealed on the Better Battlelog forums, an unofficial browser add-on for Battlefield.
Leaked Information:
- New game name: Battlefield: Hardline.
- New game mode: Bloodmoney, Heist.
- Alpha and beta in use or preparation.
- Commander mode. (Found in icons, see below.)
- Soldier classes: Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator, Professional.
- Platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
- Teams: Thieves, Swat.
- Possible in-game store where you can buy weapons and accessories. (Hopefully ala Counter-Strike.)
- There will be the police baton. (“The police baton is used in melee combat to deter wrongdoers from bad behavior.”)
