Mario and Luigi are once again coming together for a new 3DS title, Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, set for a 2016 release.
The trailer shown during Nintendo’s conference shows “two-worlds colliding”, the role-playing game including Paper Mario alongside his 3D embodiment and green counterpart as they roam around the game’s world.
The meshing of 2D and 3D elements seem to provide some interesting gameplay mechanics, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little while longer for more.
