Insomniac have released a last minute patch to avoid spoilers being streamed to those who want to watch the movie. This patch will specifically stop cutscenes from being shown. The game contains around an hour of scenes directly from the movie so its completely understandable that Insomniac would want to protect this. It’s just a little odd that they waited until the day of release to release a patch.
This is ever-so important in Australia where the film won’t launch until the 28th of July.
Unfortunately this won’t block people from streaming using an Elgato Capture card or something to that degree so if you’d like to see the movie, avoid streams all together.
