Google has sent out an invitation for a GDC keynote in San Francisco on March 19th.
The invitation features an image of a hallway with a white light at the end of it along with the slogan “gather around”.
It’s unclear what Google will reveal, but it has been fairly well documented that Google is working on some kind of game streaming technology. This was demonstrated with an Assassin’s Odyssey test stream last year, that seemed to perform quite well.
It’s unclear at this point if they will reveal a console or streaming will work on their existing Chrome devices, but it’s clear that they’re going to be entering the gaming space in a big way.
