Apple has today announced Apple Arcade which is essentially a subscription model gaming service (not unlike Xbox Game Pass).
At launch, Apple Arcade will be available on Macs, iPhone/iPads as well as TVs. It’ll be available in 150 countries when it launches later this year.
A price hasn’t been revealed, but it will launch with over 100 exclusive games from some well-known studios including Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji, Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, LEGO, Mistwalker Corporation, SEGA, Snowman, ustwo games and dozens more. Apple is also helping to fund some of these games.
